How It WorksTBC High School Heroes scholarship amounts

  • Schools are encouraged to host two blood drives with The Blood Center per year.
  • The Blood Center makes a donation to your school allowing your organization to choose the best candidate(s) for the scholarship.
  • Scholarships are awarded based on the amount of blood collected.
  • School has the final decision on how the scholarship will be used. Scholarships will be presented to the school for distribution.
  • All blood units need to be collected during the current school year. Donations made off campus at any TBC school sponsored blood drive or Donor Center can count towards the final total.
